Scouting in the Glebe |

We are based in the Glebe neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, just a short hike (20 minutes) from Canada's Parliament Buildings. Scouts meet every Tuesday evening, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We meet at our regular meeting place at Glebe St. James United Church, 670 Lyon St. Our group also has Beavers, Cubs and Venturers. We are members of Scouts Canada, in the Heritage Area of Voyageur region. |

The 36th Ottawa Scout Group has been sponsored by various United Churches in the Glebe since 1936. We were part of the St. James United Church congregation when it merged with Glebe United Church to form the present congregation. We have had our home with Glebe-St. James United Church since the mid 1960's. |
